At Nowmi Child Guidance Centre, we are dedicated to supporting children in their early developmental years — from infancy to 8 years of age.
Our history
CGC established in the year 2008 set up by a group of professionals engaged in helping those diagnosed with autism to lead full and enriched lives and become valuable members of the community they live in.
Dedicated to enriching the lives of people with autism , CGC seeks to share knowledge and expertise with parents/caretakers and other professionals to supports the development and dissemination of skills/strategies needed to provide the best care and support for people with autism.
Our treatments are customized to best fit the need of every child.We have been serving around 180+ children everyday with ADHD/ASD, neuro and motor disabilities.

Dr. E. V. V. Raja Sekhar
Psychologist & Autism Specialist
Founder & Director – Nowmi Child Guidance Centre
Dr. E. V. V. Raja Sekhar is a dedicated child psychologist and behavioural specialist with over 15+ years of experience in supporting children with developmental and behavioural challenges.
With a strong foundation in counselling psychology and special education, he has worked extensively in early intervention, autism support, behaviour therapy, and parent training programs across Hyderabad.
Professional Journey
Dr. Raja Sekhar began his career as a Special Educator, working closely with multidisciplinary assessment teams to understand the developmental needs of children.
He later served as a Senior Autism Therapist at a reputed Development Center for Children with Autism in Ameerpet, where he gained deep clinical experience in:
One-to-one behaviour therapy
TEACCH structured teaching methods
Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
Parent counselling and training
Functional communication development
Since 2018, he has been serving as the Psychologist and Director of Nowmi Child Guidance Centre, leading a team focused on structured early intervention and evidence-based therapy models.
